Week 4 Learning

Boy, we seem to cram a lot of learning into a week!

Our name creatures and descriptive writing are hanging up and look awesome. It's nice seeing our walls starting to look colourful.

We had a maths investigation on Tuesday as the date was a palindrome.

We found out by writing a number, then flipping in and adding them together, you could turn any number into a palindrome. Some numbers took more than one step though!

We continued our maths learning by reading and writing large numbers. The students are also working on maths maintenance each day to practice basic facts.

We continued with our learning about the church and school for RE and for Te Reo Maori we added onto our pepeha by naming our family members.

Golden Time was free time, and we had a variety of activities happening today: baking, Ollies, drawing, games, and reading.

Another highlight of today was our Opening School Mass which was held outdoors which was a bit of a treat. Thanks to our readers, Skyrah and Cherica, and Andrew who was an altar server.

Enjoy your weekend everyone.
