Sunday 27 November 2022

I hope your child has recovered from camp and caught up on all their sleep. The last two days of school last week were challenging for many of us.

We thank all our wonderful camp parents from across our three classes. You were all incredible. The kids were all shining examples of using our school values.

Week 5 Learning

It was lovely having our Kapahaka perform for us on Monday. They are sounding and looking amazing. Swimming was a bonus this week. Thank you for supporting this by ensuring your child has their togs each day. The water is so warm, it was like a spa on Monday morning as the water was steaming!

Lorna has shared a form via School Apps for you all to fill in about Swimming Sports/Triathlon for December 8th. This will be another fabulous day for our kids.

Lots of lucky kids got prizes at the assembly today. The Reading log lucky prizes were drawn and the Colour Fun Run prizes were delivered. Year 6 kids will get theirs after camp.

Enjoy the photos of our learning this week. Next week is camp. We are so excited!!

Week 4 Learning

The highlight of this week has to be our Kahui Ako Ahurei festival on Friday. I had the pleasure of taking 60 kids to JPC to participate in a day of Kapahaka fun. Our kids performed spectacularly and I was so proud of them. A huge thanks to

Koro Tini and Matua Wiki for preparing the students so well. Both teina and tuakana groups will perform on Monday during assembly, so come along and see them.

We had a short week of swimming lessons with Tara and her crew, but she was really impressed with how well the kids are going with their technique and endurance. We are so lucky to have a heated pool, so there is no excuse (unless medical) not to have your togs each day.

We managed to fit in some cricket coaching and a Science Kit lesson on aerodynamics this week as well!

Enjoy the photos of our week.
