Week 3

Welcome to Week 3 February 14 - 18

This week some of our learning will be around these big ideas:

R.E - To understand that I am part of a school and faith that has a special history and charisms grounded in the person of Christ.

Maths - Statistics can tell a story- students are learning to tell the 'class story' using pie charts

We are having swimming lessons every day this week.  Everyone is expected to be swimming unless they have a note explaining why they cannot swim.  Please make sure you have your togs and a towel.

Unfortunately, our library is closed for another week. We have plenty of reading material in class but feel free to bring a book from home for silent reading.

Reminders:

  • book bag
  • pencil case
  • chrome book charged (chargers are not to be brought to school)

What's on this week:

Monday - Swimming

Tuesday - Swimming

Wednesday - Swimming, Structured Literacy Spelling Test

Thursday - Swimming

Friday - Opening School Mass 9:00am, Swimming, Sausage Sizzle, Golden TIme

Homework Expectations

Students should spend no more than 30 minutes on homework. This could be made up of 15 minutes of literacy (reading, writing, spelling) and 15 minutes of Mathematics ( Maths Whizz, basic facts).
