So we've survived our first full week this term. We have had a bit of fun with Ollies, worked hard on our swimming skills with Henk, focussed on getting our koru art and name symmetry art finished and been mathematicians collecting data to answer a question about our classmates. Also, we have been researching our school and our church community with our Room 1 learning buddies. Whew! that's a lot of learning in one week.
It was lovely having our Golden Time treat of an ice cream sundae under the tress this afternoon to congratulate ourselves on having a fabulous week.
Just a reminder to our families about birthdays. Please do not bring treats to school to share as it sets an expectation for other families. Also, due to Covid, it makes it tricky to manage. We sing to the students for their birthday and make a fuss in the morning.
