Congratulations on a wonderful week of learning Room 2.
We have had a full-on week, getting to know each other and learning to gel together as a class. Here are some pictures of our week.
The students are painting their families using koru to represent their family members.
For maths, we have been learning about the Fibonacci sequence. Some students carried on this number pattern while others coloured in the spiral pattern the numbers made. We also looked at repeating number sequences and acted out a 'robot' to see what spiral pattern the sequence made.
For prayer, we have been focusing on our value of courage. There have been lots of examples of learners showing this value this week.
We played a fun fitness game each day called team tic tac toe and our Golden Time this week was dodge ball.
We even had a group make a delicious pasta lunch with Mr G.
