Welcome to week 6. We are over the halfway mark for Term 1. I am really impressed with the way Room 2 are getting on with each other. They are an amazing bunch of learners.
It has been a trying time with sickness and Covid, and I want to thank all our families for the way they are coping with keeping sick kids at home. It can't be easy juggling work and child care. Just a reminder, if your child tests positive, please let the school know (even if they have already been isolating or away from school). You can ring Dave Macmillan, Anne Cato, or the school office.

Young Vinnies Fundraiser

On Friday, students can wear the colours of the Ukraine flag (blue and yellow) or their national flower, the sunflower, to show support for the people of Ukraine.  Gold coin donation, please.

Some of our learning this week includes....

Writing/Art/Zones of Regulation -

People have different emotions and feelings and we can use Art and Poetry to express these. By showing and talking about our feelings, we can better understand
ourselves and others.

RE -

Caritas - The theme for Lent 2022 is 'Building Dreams Together: Called to be Peacemakers'. There is always hope of transforming our world for the better when we are guided by peace, love, and justice. We will use the 'See Judge, Act' process about a Social Justice situation over the following few weeks. The unrest in Ukraine has been a talking point last week.
