Welcome to Week 8.
This week, Room 1 and 2 will base our learning around music. Our Literacy, Numeracy, and The Arts will be through the medium of music.
Some of our big ideas for learning will be:- Using music notation to learn about fractions - whole notes, half notes, quarter notes.
- Learning to make music using marimba and percussion
- Understanding that many pieces of music tell a story and composers use elements of music to help tell that story - beat, rhythm, tempo, pitch, dynamics
- Visualising music using soundscapes
- Responding to music by moving in a variety of ways

Monday - Swimming,
Tuesday - Swimming, Netball/Futsal practice,
Wednesday - Swimming, library, Chess and Indoor Bowls
Thursday - Swimming, Netball/Futsal practice
Friday - Swimming, Feast of the Annunciation liturgy, Sausage Sizzle, Golden Time
