It was lovely having a music focus this week. We used the music, In the Hall of the Mountain King by Edvard Greig, to learn about the elements of music: rhythm, beat, tempo and dynamics. The student had a go at using chopsticks for drums and playing marimba. We learned about how music tells a story and used a storyboard and soundscape to represent this. The students even learned about fractions in music notation.
