We all enjoyed the new classroom layout our excellent designers created for us as part of our maths learning around mapping and scale models. Thanks to Avantika, Eliza, and Skyrah and their helpers.
We have enjoyed learning compass direction this week using a strategy called MoveNprove. We have had some good debates about compass points and angles.
Mr. Men Blackman gave a very informative talk to us about the Matariki star cluster on Tuesday. We hope to see him again as an expert for Project-Based Learning.
Congratulations to all those who got a prize for reading logs today, we were very well represented!
Oral language today was using a 5 finger plan to structure storytelling. This framework structure will also help the students write detailed explanations over the next couple of weeks.
