No swimming for us, Kahikatea's turn.
On Thursday, we are having a bread a water day. Instead of your usual morning tea, you will have a slice of bread and a drink of water to help you remember our prayer and promises made for Lent.
What's On This Week:
Monday: $2 for iceblock
Tuesday: $2 for iceblock
Wednesday: Library (please bring books to swap), $2 for iceblock, Chess and Indoor Bowls
Thursday: Bread and water morning tea, $2 for iceblock, St Patricks Day
Friday: Sausage Sizzle, Golden Time, Liturgy for St Joseph's Day
Mathematics: multistep addition and subtraction problems - choosing the best strategy for the numbers.
Literacy: understanding what we read and demonstrating this by summarising the main ideas.
Religious Education: Learning about St Joseph and how he is a role model for us as well as being the founder of the Josephite nuns. The sisters of St Joseph taught at St Mary's school for many years.
